Bed & Breakfast Canterbury, Kent

“Perfect” Alistair Sawday’s Special Places to Stay

Number 7 Longport bed & breakfast Canterbury KentWe are so pleased you are thinking of coming to stay with us and want you to feel at home while you are here. 7 Longport can now offer you a choice of places to stay: our original 15th century cottage for Bed and Breakfast, or Love Lane, a three bedroom Georgian cottage, where you can cater for yourself or, if you prefer, can still choose B & B.

Hidden-away in a beautiful courtyard garden behind a Georgian town house on the edge of Canterbury’s historic city centre the cottage at Number 7 Longport provides an oasis of calm away from the busy streets of the city.

Number 7 is perfectly situated for exploring the sights of Canterbury and East Kent and is only 30 minutes drive from the Channel ports.

Without losing the character of the 15th century cottage, the luxury boutique style accommodation offers a cosy ground floor sitting room, a stylish wet room and, up a steep flight of stairs, a large, chic bedroom.

14 Love Lane is just through the garden wall. It sleeps 5 and has been recently restored and decorated in a fresh modern style. The colours are soft; the furniture is an eclectic mix of new and old; the beds are comfortable with luxury linen and there is original art on the walls.
The cottage provides a sitting room, dining room, conservatory and kitchen, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor and a third bedroom up in the attic.

Award winning breakfasts are locally sourced and offer plenty of variety.

“The breakfast (speaking as a non-meat eater) was easily one of the best I've had in a B&B in this country” Guest comment

If you want to stay with us, please book when you think about it! Don’t leave it too late. We book up very quickly all year round.
