Love Lane

14 and 15 Love Lane are 3 bedroom holiday cottages (each sleeping 5) just through the garden wall from 7 Longport and offering the choice of self-catering or Bed and Breakfast accommodation.

The early-Victorian cottages have been recently restored and decorated in a fresh modern style. The colours are soft; the furniture is an eclectic mix of new and old; the beds are comfortable with luxury linen and there is original art on the walls. The cottages have free Wi-Fi access throughout and Freeview TV.

Downstairs there are cosy sitting rooms with modern TVs, DVD players, iPod docks and radios, perfect for relaxing evenings. No 14 has a separate dining room and No 15 a kitchen-diner, great for leisurely mealtimes and each has a well-equipped kitchen with hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave, ideal for the keen cook.

On the first floor, each cottage has a large main bedroom with a kingsize bed, a small single room overlooking the garden, and a modern bathroom with a bath and a shower. The third bedroom in each house is up narrow steep steps on the second floor, tucked up in the attic space. No 14 has twin beds and No 15 a double. Please note, headroom is really limited in No 14, so not suitable for tall guests. All the mattresses are handmade and the bed linen is white cotton.

There are pretty courtyard gardens with wisteria and magnolia, and garden furniture and a barbecue for you to use. Parking in Canterbury can be difficult but there is a garage which may be available for your use during your stay. Otherwise there is voucher parking in a local carpark about 150m away.

Please do note that we have a minimum stay of three nights in the Love Lane cottages and are unlikely to be able to accept a booking less than 48 hours in advance.
